This site that goes through and explains the Roman Legionnaire and his equipment is good for visual reference. It's very helpful to learn about the tactics and equipmen that they used during those times in the Roman Military. It also shows the tactics used by the legions and how they fought with and interactive map. If you would like to know more about the individual soldiers and the legions themselves during Roman Times, this site is great.
